Sky Commanders was one of the 80s lines that came and went really, really fast. It was a two-wave toy line and a single-season show. I guess it was loosely inspired by mountaineering with motorised backpacks that enabled the action figures to slowly climb up towering tables and chairs and traverse the vast chasms of a child’s playroom.
