Zombie Optimus Prime
“Bra-a-ain … modules …”
This is actually a Takara Transformers Jr Ultra Magnus from 1986. Pre-Internet, I had never heard of Takara’s Transformers Jr subline and I never knew Ultra Magnus’ cab transformed into a white Optimus Prime. (The catalogues never showed this.)
All I knew back then was I had a freakish albino Optimus Prime so I decided to set things right with colour markers. This was the first time I had attempted customising my toys. I immediately regretted this decision as the red marker dried pink. So instead of an Optimus Prime Done Right, I had a Barbie Optimus Prime.
This was also the last time I attempted customising my toys.
The years have not been kind to Barbiemus Prime as I lost every part that could be lost and somehow managed to detach two wheels as well.
I have now decided Barbiemus is actually Zombie Optimus Prime.
